Nice flower pattern. The centre has come out quite well. God must be quite pleased By the way, why is the one on the left a mirror image of the one on the right?
After visiting Flower show you are tempted to put this one?The poo-elai kolam is pleasing to look at , that too infront of Guruvayoorappan.
(It is not a mirror image, the first left side poto is taken standing from the left side of the right one!.... confusing? Brindha pl explain)

Thank you so much Lata, Anirudh, Kathriaki70, Rajusree, Subashini, Mohanaji, Rajammaji, Jayaji, Pushpaji, Ushaji, Sumathi and Lakshmi for your encouraging comments. Actually i uploaded this pookolam on the Ekadasi day itself. Because of long queue of rangolis, it took long time to appear in the ikolam, i think. Both the kolams are the same, the left one before keeping Guruvayoorappan and the right one with Guruvayoorappan, lamps and Shanka and Chakra in front of him. Once again thanks everyone.
I still have a feeling the two pictures are related by a vertical mirror. Look at the north-east and north-west corners. Look at the small pink flowers. In the big picture, there is a triangle made by these at the NW corner whereas these are at the nE corner in the small one (on the right). Look at the bottom. The red rose line leans to the left and in the small picture it leans to the right. The white circle too is more circular to the right in the left picture and to the left in the right picture. I may be wrong. But it looks like a mirror unless some changes were made to the picture after the first one was taken.
mIhanaji, from the reflection of the light on the floor and the shadow of the photo on the wall and also the position of the floor corners made me think that it is not a mirror image.

In fact if you look closely, you will find that it was taken in December, 2009 on the Ekadasi Day itself. The Flower shows were held in January and February, 2010 !
