Diwali rangoli contest, 2008
We are delighted to announce our Diwali rangoli/kolam contest exclusively for ikolam members. The contest that we’d conducted during last Diwali was a huge success. Following that tradition, we wanted to celebrate Diwali with you through a Rangoli contest. We know you would create a special rangoli to please Goddess Lakshmi. Would you like to share a picture of your rangoli with the rest of the rangoli fans from all over the globe? Who knows...you might win the title of being called the rangoli queen or the rangoli king, for a whole year!
We welcome all the members of the iKolam.com community to participate in this event.
Contest Days : Oct 20th, 2008 to Nov 7th, 2008.
Submission Formats : Images, photos of your Diwali Rangolis. Images should be at least 640pixels by 480pixels.
Theme : Diwali
Where to send : rangoli@ikolam.com
Contest guidelines : You could send up to 2 submissions per member. You should be the original owner/creator of your artwork. Pictures and images should be sent to us in either jpeg or gif format. It is mandatory to include your ikolam userid with your submission. The voting page will open up on Nov 7th.
We've now stopped accepting entries. We're in the process of preparing the voting page...it will be up shortly.

May I ask you where an image which hannya (the name in the submitted member list Nagata. S) posted, is able to seen in the following pages

or an other page ?
some images in the first page are enabled to see them in large size with click ,
but all of images in the last (third) page are not enabled .
Would you help me to see them in large size ?

Hello Mr.Nagata,
Your entry is not displayed yet, because we're waiting for all the entries to arrive, and the last date to send an entry is Nov 7. We do not want to disclose the rangolis of the participants who've already submitted. We'd be displaying the rangolis all at the same time without revealing the names of the participants (the rangolis would carry an entry # of course). I hope this sounds fair to you too
But please let me know your suggestions also, because there is always room for improvement in this site. Thank you Mr.Nagata, I'm glad you're participating this year!!

Hi Radha,
Thank you for letting up know...I think your name was assumed to be in the list, looks like we confused Radha A with Radha V. Anyway, your name is updated, and your rangolis are safely resting (in their respective folders in my Safe)...BEFORE THEY ARE LET OUT THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE'S'

Hi Hema,
You had mentioned in your email to me that you had made your rangoli for this diwali, where as the image that you had sent matches exactly with one of our member's kolam which can be seen in the following link (member name is Sarala and she had submitted her rangoli in October of last year).
