Thanks everybody! This was more like a moodle paDikOlam in the sense that I didn't have this design in mind when I started. It gradually evolved into this pattern.
(1) nityAjI, the story will be continued soon. Right now, I am a bit busy with some deadlines. I would expect at least five to ten more episodes before it ends.
(2) rAjammAjI, there are no hexagons in this rangOli.
(3) latAjI, they are trapeziums.
Excellent Creation, JKM Sir....... To me, it Looks like a Lotus Pond decorated with Diyas reflecting the Stars at night....... But my Kid was fascinated a bit more by this one, as he can see almost all the 2D shapes he is learning these days.....

"Trapezium" was the word that I had forgotten. In my mind I kept thinking of words like rhombus, and parallelograms. Thank you.
