mOhanaji , thanks for your appreciation. Think the colour is due to taking the picture around 05.45 to 0600 AM hrs
that too from 9th floor... no sun light falls directly on kolam.... may be should we try little later we may get it in white shade ..

beautiful as ever......was thinking it must have been taken on a full moon day, where you can get some blueish shade, so at 5:45AM, i think moon was still there

Kotta paaku, kozhundhu vethalai poota vaai sevakkum (if you eat betel nut and arecanut your mouth will become red)... Lakshmiyin kolathai, kannaal paarthaal, nenjam magazhichiyil neriyum.. (if you see Lakshmi's kolam your heart will be filled with happiness)....
I have referred to this tamil song as I can see a lot of betel leaves and arecanuts in her kolam today...
