About Kids drawing : PRINT

I teach 4 year old LKG kids. When I introduce numbers, to make it more interesting, I teach them to make drawing using that particular number. I use the strokes which they are familiar with, and they draw alongwith me step by step. These are some of their drawing using the number 8. I was surprised to see about 95% of the class could do reasonably well for their age. Thought I will display some of them.

Just because she is my neice, I didnot want to praise her Lata. you must see her full file to understand how creative and patient she is. Seeing her record/ file she was given on the spot appointment in a famous school here. The children adore her like anything.If a Bangalore meet is arranged u all can enjoy her work. l rajamma

Oh..... Thanks a tonne one and all. I did not expect such overwhelming response to this entry. Credit fully goes to the kids. During these type of drawing sessions, they are so enthusiastic, You should see them teaching how to draw these pictures to their moms and and bringing mom's drawing next day.. I have one or two samples of the kids drawings with other numbers too. If you all want those to be displayed, will do it after the school reopens on Oct 5th.

Rajam chithi is praising me tooooo much. Nothing like that.... I will be happy if this topic triggers the B.lore meet during X mas vacations. If you all want me to post the snaps of my records, ll do it. Lata mam, I think this topic could be a debate topic. {hehehhe............]

Actually I tried to upload a bigger version but it was not getting accepted due to the size. Anyways, I have sent it to Lata mam. Thanks once again.
