Being in the terrace is something I don't get to do here in my current house - one more reason to think of India.

Lata,In the new flat where we shifted last year, the view is good. We r in the 6th floor(last one) next to our compound is a coconut field , in the middle an old Durga temple,very rarely sombody coming and putting Diya, then next to it a small lake with lille water and more plants, all sorts of white birds coming there( now the Govt has tasken over ir for renovation) after that open space with trees and finally the railway track and can see 3/4 th of the train passing by.( The otherside was the old airport, now shifted to a new place, so could see only helicopter and fighter training planes now and then) will take a poto and send it. u r welcome to visit our terrece in ur next India visit.
My evening past time is seeing the setting sun and the green parrots returning home making so much noise. rajamma
