Parisarasnehi Ganesha

Recently, we went out for quarterly celebration to Taj Kuteera, next to Nrityagrama in Bangalore and there we got to experience the village, there was potter, who taught us to run the wheel and make some pots. When i saw the clay, got to remember Lakshmiji's topic on go-green Parisara Ganesha. So, got some clay back to home and made these two Ganeshas....I also got to do some pots, with help of potter.

very nice Anirudh. If all have the same inclination to have eco friendly Ganesha's, , then Ganesha himself will be the most happiest person as now a days he is suffocating inside the radium flouroscent colours. in IIT BBY, a NGO org will came before the Ganesha festival. They provide clay for a nominal cost, u can make ur own Ganesha and take it home for the festival. Many schools used to bring children to create the eco friendly awareness.

Very nicely done, shape is perfect and the idea is great. We too had a office boy who made such Ganesha's out of clay from the garden. He used a coconut to shape the body of the Ganesha and the rest of the body parts he used to shape it out of his hands.I will try to post that pic .

Ganesha statues have come out well! I wonder if you would think of drawing/painting designs over your pots.
