Rangoli competition
About Rangoli competition : PRINT
My sister Uma works with LIC Bombay. They had a rangoli comptn in their office. These are some of the entries, her entry being the one with green and pink squares. I will ask her to become a member of Ikolam.

Very nice, looks like a carpet. Drawing the border with a different colour enhances the effect.

Rangoli made without white out lines stands out looking different. Is the filling color powder with sand or raw salt?. Neat work. Did Uma got prize?

Uma has done it with crystal salt. She got inspired by the salt rangoli put for my son's engmt function and wanted to try that for the competition. She made fruit chat also. For both she got consolation prize and 900 Rs.{that also put together]. She said she will pass on the ikolam comments to the respective artists in the office.
