Washing Machine
Friends, I need your help in choosing a Washing Machine and I need your valuable tips for using a washing machine. I am having IFB washing machine, but for the past two years I can't use it. It is in working condition, but a small repair is there. I am searching for a service engineer.
But My question is which is the best washing machine suitable for our environment. Coz, our environment is so polluted, washing the clothes using a washing machine didn't give good results. I scrubbed the necks of the shirts and the dirty areas of the clothes using a brush and it is a tedious process and get only 60% results. I need your tips for
1. How to get best washing results from a washing machine?
2. How to wash white clothes in a washing machine?
3. Which Washing Powder is best suitable for a washing machine?
4. Shall we use drier ? Coz, using drier leads to poor life time to cloths.
5. Which washing machine is best suitable for our environment...
Help me please... Now I am washing 6 members clothes by hand and each of them wearing two sets daily (For work n home).

For the neck and cuffs, you can use a solution that is readily available in the markets called cuffs and collars which can be applied on these areas before washing, no need to use brush but maybe after applying slightly rubbing the area with the solution on helps

My washing machine is IFB and so far no complaint . I use Amway SA8 liquid for washing little will do , with less lather its good for clothes. I use prewash liquid for cuff and collar. Wash white clothes separately. Drier , we can use for heavy clothes only . for normal clothes you can reduce spin rpm minimum, these are some tips i can give you.

This has nothing to do with washing machines as I am not there. The collar comment made me write this. When I was in college, one of our professors used to place a folded kerchief between his neck and the shirt so that the collar does not become very soiled. My friends noticed this and in those days the jutkawallahs used to have kerchiefs around their necks. He was nicknamed "jutkawallah" and the next day all of us in the class sported similar kerchiefs around our necks. Ah, how cruel are the youth!
By the way, one more question, are the dryers used extensively in India? They are not routinely used in UK, France or South Africa. Of course, we here in US use it. There they wash the clothes and dry them on a clothesline. May be the dryers are more energy consuming.

I think I remind your flashback with this request sir...
I use the drier only in heavy rainy season sir. So, I think most of the Indians will do the same...
