Upload a profile picture/avatar ...
Hi everybody,
We have been actively working on sprucing up the site. One of the things that you will probably notice is the "no picture" avatar showing next to your's as well as other's submissions. That "no picture" represents you. You may wish to upload a picture that best represents you as your avatar. It could be one of the rangolis that you have submitted or a real picture of you or anything that you choose. Currently, we only support image type avatars.
Remember, the picture represents you and hence it will help other members easily and quickly identify you.
To upload a picture, please click on "My account" on the right, and choose the "Edit". In the "Edit" tab, you will find a box for uploading the picture. Please submit the form and you are done.
We have made changes to the site to make use of the pictures. So, some parts of the site may look different. Please bear with us while we work out the kinks.

Hey Lata how do I change the profile picture if I want to?? I just tried to delete the old pic and load a new one but the old one only is reflecting over and over again.. Am I doing it the wrong way??

You're so welcome Judy. I have a question, actually more like a confusion. May be you could help me. Try to take a look into my picture (I know it is only 80 pixels wide, but...), and tell me if that is Sneha saree (unless I'm mistaken. I got that as a gift from someone, and I was told that that was Sneha saree. The color looks exactly like Akila's peacock aari work saree (her image was uploaded two days ago).

Judy, just click on the square box first next to the Delete picture, and hit submit.
As a next step, choose the new picture, and submit again.

I did that only, but my pic is not changing at all.... and by the way that green colour is called Sneha green and both yours and akila's are the same green only..

The lamp kolam was gone a long time ago. The problem lies with your local browser. You could try to clear the cache, using the following steps:
From the tool menu, go to "internet options". And then select "Delete files". This should remove all the temporary files, and after you go back to the site, and refresh the page, you should be able to see the new picture.

Oh oh! there we go again!
Judy had the same problem where it showed up the old image instead of the changed version. Domo was the first one I used while testing. But once everything was ok, I changed it to one of my recent one. Please read the old comments posted by me when I was helping Judy solve the same issue. Just read the comments below (this page), and follow the instructions. Clear cache. Let me know...
