Diya's gooey donuts

Diya likes to try her hand in cooking and baking. She likes to make cookies and pancakes. One day, as a surprise for me, she made a batch of donuts - her own style! They were gooey rich! Not to mention so cinnamony! 
She also likes to present it her own way. She had the donuts placed in pink tissue paper in a pretty basket.

Wow Diya this looks so yummy... When I hear the word doughnuts, all I can think of, is my dad.. My kids used to go to a school that was very near my mother's house, so after school they would stay with her till we could got back from work to pick them up. Dad used to work in a travel agency which was very close to Hot Breads and very often he used to bring home chocolate doughnuts for the kids (which they loved a lot).. It was a regular habit that sometimes when he came without it my son would be upset.. Miss you Dad!!
