Just wondering. Has anyone watched this movie yet? As some of you might know already, this was the latest and the last of Mr. Yash Chopra's movies, and so I couldn't resist watching it on screen, here in San Jose. In this movie, I liked the songs, and the picturesque locations a lot. The storyline was ok, not bad. Liked Anushka's acting too.
So, what movies did you girls and guys watch, during this Diwali season? Let us know, when you get a moment to spare.

Sowmya and Suguna,
Yes, me too, watched Thuppaki on one of the TV channels (good print, not sure how).
Liked the movie a lot. I'm yet to ask my brother if he had watched it. In case if that sounds odd, here's why; he is a "Thala" fan, and doesn't like it if me or my daughters start singing "vadu manga oorudungo" or any of Vijay's hits.

Next time when I visit, I want to trick and drag you to watch a really "spicy" movie, Lakshmi!
I'm not able to discuss any of the movies with you at all :tired: :~
Oh, and I'll make sure to choose a "vrat" day so you are too tired to run away. That way you're just forced to watch. I bet Rani would come to help me in this regard. Rani oru pakkam, naan oru pakkam.

Not a great fan of SRK or Yash Chopra...so, was not in the priority list :). Also Chopra's movies are very lengthy, almost every movie of his is 3hrs, its difficult to sit & watch for that long

Also the following review made me to step back. Of course heard & saw the songs on TV which are good.

I watched Life of Pi in IMAX forum mall, Bangalore. Amazing movie and 3D effect was too good in Imax. Loved the beautiful scenery and beautiful animals. The way the sea was picturized was absolutely marvelous. 3D effect superb.
