The "kuzhal araSi" of my family. In other words; SuriK of ikolam 
(picture taken in our last trip to India, 2yrs ago)
She did set a record of our household, which is to make the "longest/tallest" kolam ever!

Kuzhal... means hair.... Kuzhali...one who has nice hair, poonkuzhali ... one who has flower in the hair.
Seeing the poto I can tell she is a Kuzhali and her mother takes care of herhair with Arappupodi/soapnut powder/meera podi and what not?

Nice to know the other meanings of kuzhal. No madam, the kid can't stand the smell of any of those podis, she picks her own strawberry flavored, or mango fragrance shampoos, tear free shampoos.

jayaji, you are right partly. It so happens that most of her pictures come out with her face covered with hair (the hair bands, clips are of no use). But shy - she is not.

Hey surya atlast u shown ur full face....cute girl....beautiful rangoli...hey u know one thing after seeing ur "longest/tallest".rangoli .yester day i drawn one rangoli for which i have used ur design for the outer border...while drawing iwas thinking about u ....so i used ur design... i will upload today...ok all the best surya....thanks for giving me a idea....
