The following medicine is prescribed for H1N1 prevention in homeo:
Its called Influenzium, potency 200. You can just go to any homeo clinic and ask for a quantity of 10 drams (yes, not grams) and the dosage is 4 pills first day one dosage, then after 14 days another dosage of 4 pills, then again 3rd dosage of 4 pills after 14 more days. Kids also same dosage.

Also an 'amla' or a spoon of chyavanprash and a few tulsi leaves in the morning also work against H1N1 virus, according to naturopathy. I don't know how far it is true!
Anyway easy to take and good for general health!

STAY ALERT! PREVENT AGAINST SWINE FLU
1. Have your food at regular intervals. Your body needs energy to fight initial attacks.
2. Do not plan any outings with friend to places like malls, cinema halls, your own theaters swimming pools etc.
3. Keep away from the crowd even in your colleges, university and work places.
4. Carry a hand kerchief and protect yourself when you are in a crowd
5. The virus spreads to a minimum of 6 feet from the person who sneezes and coughs and who has the infection. So keep away
6. The virus gets developed in 7 days time but some initial symptoms like fever, cough, running noses starts early
7. So do not ignore the initial Flu symptoms. Go to a doctor immediately. Don’t put excuse on your work. There is nothing that can save you once you get the virus. No great things which you want to achieve by extra work will be there for you
8. Drink as much water s possible.
9. Keep your rooms clean and wash your hands with soap as frequent as possible.
10. Advise people who may have these symptoms to go to a doctor and avoid contact with them. It may look very silly but can’t help it.

Hi Jaya,
read about your homeo medicine.Thanks for the same.However I checked with my homeo doctor(a leading practioner in Chennai) who advices that 99% of people will not be affected by this swine flu.
Secondly the medicine suggested above seems to be an old drug and there are much newer drugs available in the market and it is not required for people who are not affected by this flu .The efficacy of these drugs are not proven so far.People panicking the situation can take this drug for their mental well being

Sumathi, thanks for getting a doctor's opinion so soon! I know it is an old medicine as the name suggests, yet thought would give a psychological strength apart from taking necessary precautions.
