Golu contest 2011

The speciality of my golu this year is It has contemporary artistic decoration across floor and ceiling with all dieties occupying a 5 step arrangement . Three lokas – vaikuntam,kailsam and satyalokam, traditional items used by ancestral people, cricket team, a marriage celebration etc also form part as a special attraction this year along with lighting.Lots of handwork done b me,my 75 year old mother and my 9yr old daughter also form a major part in the golu.All the decoration works are done by my husband.since i can send only 2 images for the contest i am unable to show the marriage golu kept by me.i am uploading the main golu and the the three lokas as well as a village scene. regards, riaiyer.

thanks but i couldn't submit the photo of a marriage theme which was kept on the other side of main golu as there is restriction of 2 photos per contestant.

Beautiful Golu arrangement and Village set up. I liked those Kutty kutty choppu items in brass. Are the rangolis done under water? Lovely. All the best and keep it up.

I liked the kutti kutti rangoli at the bottom of the golu and the whole arrangement is excellent.

First of all, I would like to apologize for not finding the time to flip your images, at the time of the contest. Usually I flip quite a few images for members who upload in the wrong direction. Due to the site-relayout work, I couldn't spend time on correcting our members' images where ever required this year. About your golu, I really enjoyed your tribal set, with tribal people and huts.
