Parantha (unstuffed)
Ingredients for four-five people:
Potato ……2 big
Gobi leafy ……250gms
Clove ………3-4
Dalchinni… 1small piece
Green chill … 2
Ginger … 1cm cube
Salt …… 1 teaspoonful (as per the taste)
Sugar … 2 teaspoonfuls
Lime juice from 1
coriander leaves -1 bunch
Preparation:
. Scrape Gobi and boil it in little water with very little salt (by boiling we will get the carotenoids benefit along with other vitamins). Don’t throw the water left in boiling.
. boil potatoes with little water and smash it properly
. chop coriander leaves finely
. if u have pestle then make the paste of chilli ,ginger ,clove dalchinni along with salt, sugar and lemon(limbu)juice
. If u desire u can add scraped onion (option)
Method:
Put boiled Gobi along with the extra water in the plate in which u r going to make the dough.Add smashed boiled potatoes and onion and add the paste of chilli ,ginger ,clove dalchini …. And now add around four cups of wheat flour and make the dough .Make it exactly like chapattis when u fry initially keep the flame in low and keep it till u feel the upper layer becomes dry(without turning) then turn it and make the flame high and then keep for few seconds and apply little oil from all the sides .
It will be very very soft and tasty and can be eaten alone or with dahi or pickle as per ur taste
Note: very rich in vitamins, minerals, carotenoids along with carbohydrate, protein and fats

Also, this scraped onion (which is optional), should it be grinded along with masala or can it be added directly along with other ingredients for making the dough? I'm asking too much questions, isn't it?.
