Tomato onion chutney
This chutney receipe is made specially for our big tom as it is my funishment to give simple receipe with this two ingreadients.Ammu hope u like it .All friends please try and give ur frank opinions
Ingredients:
Tomatoto ...5 riped one
Onion ....2 big
green chilly....2
ginger.....1 cm cube
garlic 2 big or 4 small pods
Aamchur ......1 teaspoonful
curyy leaves ...8-10
jeera ...1 teaspoonful
Udad dal ...1 teaspoonful
Rai(mustard seed) ..1 teaspoonful
Preparation:
Make paste of chili, ginger and garlic and keep aside.
Finely chop the onion and tomatoes.
Method:
Put one to two teaspoonful of cooking oil in a kadai .add curry leaves, udad dal ,rai and jeera when they start cracking add onion and fry till little brown . now add the chilli ,ginger and galic paste and fry it .Now add tomatoes and keep it for frying 5-10 minutes .if you want u can add aamchur powder (dry mango powder).finally add salt as per the taste .If u want u can add little sugar .It goes well with chapatti as well as boiled rice .

Hmmm...it looks like our thakkaali thokku (tomato thokku)minus d chilli pdr...anyways thanks rekha mam for this mumbai recipe...andha bayam irukkattum...haha(ask ur tamil translater)...escapeeee...
