Thanks Suguna (this is kumbakonam degree coffee), Priya (this is made outdoor only), Dr Malar & Rani for your lovely comments. Infact i want to make kolams using Kaavi, but it will not reflect well in my dark red floor. Mahalakshmi

Suguna, I'm from Chennai only. We got some Kumbakonam filter coffee powder thru one of our friend and we took it to DXB. Otherwise we buy the normal filter coffee powder whenever we visit Chennai or if someone is visiting us in DXB from Chennai. We always have some stock here. So anytime u come to my home in DXB, I can serve u fresh filter coffee. Yes, Suguna, this kola powder is of very fine texture. I don't know is this the one they call as nylon kola podi. I got this from one of the Indian groceries here. Mahalakshmi
