Thanx everyone. Mohana sir, This painting is about 2 1/2 feet by 1 1/2 feet. The basic picture I had was a small card with this picture, which mentioned that "The famous painting of a "LONELY BOY".

The painting jayantIji drew is called "Crying Boy", not "Lonely Boy". There are so many urban legends and ghost stories associated with this painting. Here are one or two links - http://messybeast.com/dragonqueen/cryingboy.htm http://www.scaryforkids.com/crying-boy-painting/ Regards! - mOhana

Interesting haunting story behind this street-urchin boy. Now that a copy of this picture resides in our ikolam.com server, should I/we be worried? :) Comments please...
