Dip the full size bread in water.Take out immediately and squeeze fully. Make it round and fry in oil till golden color comes.Make sugarwater and keep aside.Dip all the fried bread ball in the chakrapagu.It should be dipped for an our.Tasty Bread gulab jamun is ready to eat after an hour.

i just wanted to add little more to it.
after wetting the bread slices we can stuff it with apple pulp (peeled and grated) and rest is the same as you said.
i tried this reciepe and everyone liked it.
