before navratri during maahalam period comes in puratasi,during that period grandma used to put single line kolams,so i follow the same but made them as single line rangolis with kaavi. i dont know whether i can do that with kaavi or not during this period,but tried it without nanny's tips.

This is a dotted kolam with dot count 21 to 11 in between dots. Used wet rice maavu to draw the design and for filling white kola podi and kavi for outlines.
This design is drawn with wet white kolamaavu and decorated by color rangoli powder.
It is a dotted kolam ..dot count 11 dots 11 lines straight dots and one centre dot on all 4 sides.
Made this one as a Tribute to the Mahatma..... Hope You all like it!!

This was done during the last krishna jayanthi in which i have used colours in the maakolam along with the normal maakolam(as usual mixing colours in the maavu)

Here is a simple rangoli that was inspired by the "noise" factor in the various software programs. I think this one screams! Hope you can put up with it for a second. I like it mainly for its black and white colors.
Art with the punctuation mark comma. Two fonts were used. Enjoy!

This is a dotted rangoli. I had created this rangoli 5 years back. But, back then, we had not introduced the commenting feature, and so, it never got any feedback from any of our members. It was time for these beauties to swim up!
