Let's go on a cruise!
Hi all,
How are you all doing? Schools are yet to resume at our end of the globe and we have a few more days of our summer vacation left. It is upto us to enjoy them to their fullest. After spending some time thinking about what could be done in these last few days of summer, this is what we’ve come up with:- What could be more relaxing and rewarding that going on a cruise with friends and family? Won’t you please join us?
Here is the plan; let’s imagine we’re going on a cruise with our friends and family for a few days to take a break from our daily life. Let’s enjoy fun things like snorkeling, fishing, boating, and going on sight-seeing day trips on islands while the ship is docked. Imagine watching the sunrise/sunset from the deck of the ship, enjoying the various sumptuous cuisines from around the globe, and participating in the different activities in the company of our friends. As part of memories from the trip, we’ll bring back artsy souvenirs to keep which remind us of the various sea-creatures we met with during this trip.
Here is what we’re going to do. Notice the sea-theme image shown at the top? Behind those beautiful blue waves lies a vibrant world of sea-creatures. I’m sure you can spot most of them, although some of them are quite sneaky and don’t show themselves. Do you think we could each make a rangoli taking atleast one sea-creature from this theme for reference? We hope you’ll join us in this wonderful sea-journey with family and friends. Also, if you had had the pleasure of having gone on a cruise before, please share your experiences with us – the good and the bad.

PS- Can you try to name all the sea creatures that is shown in this image and email us? Let’s see who gets them all correct. We'll post the members' names in a few days from today.

If it is something like the "Moringa" tree (drumstick), then I would've to make another vege-patch for you, since we don't have that included in the old patch. But if it is a vegetable already labeled in the current patch, then I just have to create a new lable for your name and hook it up with your rangoli. In other words, yes, I can flag it accordingly.

Lata, I uploaded today some kolams for the cruise theme. Kindly confirm if it is been received or not. Thanks dear. There is no time to make floor versions, hence I submitted my paper work. Hope it is acceptable. Will try to make one more fish kolam during this weekend on floor.

Maha dear, pls try something on the floor pa. U have such a lovely floor like the sea, u can do wonders, perhaps during the weekend or take ur time but do something on the floor too dear. we all would love to see it.

Suguna, I've updated your daughter's name. I wasn't sure if the blue creature on the land was an octopus...not sure.
Maha, sure, all five are so good looking. Any medium is welcome. Pushpa, Maha has changed dotted kolam grids to suit some of the sea creatures, and you might change your mind once you see them.

Dear lata...ammu is fond of doing mehandi designs...she says she will try one fish design in mehandi...shall i share it here....i am asking this coz i've already uploaded two fish rangolies...so again a fish design...thats why thought to get ur opinion...pl let me know when u r free dear...

lata ive submitted 3, papu wants to do 1 more in ohb sheet in this theme, he is busy tied up with hws,, probably i may upload tmrw,, is there any number limits to upload? he wants to submit still more craft works later,, is it possible to create a seperate gallery for him ? did u receive my vege and roses for d past 2 themes? i think ive askd 2222222222222 much of queries he he he,,,

Julie dear, please do as what Rani and Uma said. Fast fast, make a fish kolam or any other kolam of your choice and upload atleast one now, so that u could be a part of the first day of our cruise journey. You can still continue adding some more kolams during its sail also.

Hi Julie, you can upload it in I-Kolam and use the "Upload Rangoli" option as how you upload your normal rangoli. In the description mention it as for Cruise theme, so that it will be easier for Lata to tag your kolam in the cruise theme.
