Valentine's Day, also known as the Feast of Saint Valentine, is a holiday observed on February 14 each year. On this day, many people exchange gifts, cards, flowers, and chocolates with their significant other, or their “valentine.” The heart is considered as the Valentine’s Day symbol. Red and pink patterns of hearts are commonly found in commercially sold Cards and candy boxes.

Aadi kolams for the month of Aadi. The Tamil month of Aadi starts mid July and ends in mid-August. The Goddess is worshipped to establish peace and harmony in the world. Adiperukku is a Tamil festival celebrated on the 18th day of the Tamil month of Adi (mid July). The festival coincides with the annual freshes of the rivers and to pay tribute to water's life-sustaining properties. It is celebrated near river basins, water tanks, lakes and wells etc. of Tamil Nadu.
