I did this rangoli especially for Republic day in this I have drawn the picture of a famous Tamil poet MAHA KAVI BHARATIAR who fought for freedom along with his beautiful songs. Im a great fan of his songs, now I've tried out in my kolam. Below that a thin stroke shows a sketch of MAHATMA GANDHIJI.

Hi ikolam members Happy Republic Day.

Looked through my kolam book for flag kolams but found kolams that were common and did not want to repeat the usual ones so I decided to do something different and hope everyone likes this sketch rangoli.

This is the Flag Rangoli put by me in my house for Republic Day. I took this design from this site (from some member's gallery) or book - I do not remember from where - and copied it in my book - by making some changes. I forgot to mention in my book any details as to wherefrom I copied.
I thank in advance the person who put the kolam in this site/book. If anyone feels it is their kolam, please let me know.
I must reiterate that I have made changes to the original before putting this kolam.
