This kolam has made my house beautiful on diwali.
This is traditional lamp arrangement done with a kuthuvilakku on festivals. it is called nalvilakku and the lamp can be either lit or not and fully decorated with manjal, kumkum and flowers.
This is traditional lamp arrangement done with a kuthuvilakku on festivals. it is called nalvilakku and the lamp can be either lit or not and fully decorated with manjal, kumkum and flowers. I have done this using a marron plate for the base with sambangi, chrysanthemums, oleander and nanthiavattai.
I saw this on the road and tried it...its a dotted kolam of count 7-1 inter dots, simple and beautiful kolam.
This kolam was drawn on my sons B'day. It's a freehand one..
This is a simple kolam...with deepams all around...this was done on the road..its kinda big for the floors in my flat!
You can see the dots in different colours...you can colour up the vilaku or lamp in any shades...but make sure the deepam is coloured the same way!
