I've opened this page three times already, and I still don't know how to appreciate it better. The inner pattern is so attractive! Beautiful work with bright colors. :)

thankyou vasanthi,suguna,lata,ammu,sudha,maha,subashini,mahalakshmi, (all mams).i live in madipakkam,chennai .this is a printed sheet only.i have done the same in kolam also i mix the colours with sand.this kolam and my previous elephant kolam was drawn by me for a rangoli competition by idayam oil in mangayarmalar some 10-15yrs back.i took the photo of the kolam from the book and uploaded it for ur comments.

About 12 years ago 'Idhayam' published a book of 100 rangolis drawn by different people selected by 'kola kalai arasi' Santha Narayanan. This one and your previous rangolis are taken from that collection. Am I right Sakaji?

sss ur correct mam. my name is kanakalakshmi. my pet name is only saka.not all but only 2 of them are from that book.this one and the previous elephant kolam was selected and printed for that book.
