About shaNmukhi : PRINT

My original idea was to create a hexagonal paDikOlam. However, I ended with this six-faced beauty shaNmukhi Smile It is a layered pattern and a bit intricate. I wish somebody recreates this on the floor.

Shanmukhi is beautiful. I'm sure you'll get many volunteers. Smile

Speaking of Shanmukhi, have you seen Avvai Shanmukhi/Chachi 420?

Thanks everybody! I am eagerly waiting to see this done on the floor. I compared the rangOli to a woman and shaNmukhi means a six faced woman. lakshmIjI, even though the whole rangOli does not have six-fold and eight-fold symmetries, one layer has. I'll try your idea soon.

Mohanaji very nicely done ... you know whenever I look at your design I am reminded of something... when I was a small kid we used to get these cylindrical box type things with bangles inside them and when we shake them they used to make these wonderful patterns... I am always reminded of them when I see your designs...
