Beautifully made and very nice choice of colors too. :) (May be the brightness is too much in #2, just my thought).

Nicely presented. The fourth one is novel for me. That song by kuveMpu is a beautiful song, aniruddhajI. bRundAvanake hAlanu mAralu hOguva bArE bEga sakhI bRundAvanadali hAlanu koLLalu yAriharE hELiMdumukhI gOvana kAyuva gOviMda nihanE hAlanu koLLuva dEvanE Two gOpis weer conversing with each other. One of them wants to meet Krishna. So she says to the other - "Let us go to Brindavana and sell milk." After all nobody lives there. It is only a wooded area. The second one replies - "Who is there to buy your milk in Brindavana?" The first one replies - "There is Krishna, the cowherd there. He'll buy the milk." A dance based on this song may be viewed here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNdbN4lmjmw Regards! - mOhana

Lakshmi, good idea to combine 4 kolams/rangolis in one frame. Lata will be happy if all follow this. I was wondering what happened to ur Thulsi rangolis. All the 4 rangolis are beautiful in their own way.In small area you are able to create wonders!

Lakshmi I like the colours you have used in the first one as they are very different, the second one also colour combination is nice but usual, if you did not mention I would never have guessed that the third one was made of sagoo, I thought it was shredded coconut, but I love the clarity of the last one, and the colour combination simply rocks - I think you have not mixed kolapodi in the colours for this one...
