Yes Lakshmi, it looks like paper folding at the 8 partition lines. You didn't aim it while putting? If so, may I call it 'serendipity'?

Yes, I can see 16 folds and it looks like the Rajadurbar paintings on the floor /roof in movies. Good depth.Iam just wondering how the kolapodi stands without falling in the slopes.Mindblowing...

Yes, definitely one of the octagonal based Origami lily, shows the same way, when you open-up the folder paper. Will post one of the pics of the paper shortly :).

Lata,because of a little angle comes to our home i was very busy for the past two months.I mean my grand daughter Nithila Meenakshi born on 10.05.2009.I am becoming granny by my son.I share this joy to our ikolam friends.
