Yes! The bottom portion is bigger but I noticed it only after making this.
This is drawn neatly. But there is no symmetry in number of lines , there are 4 lines at some places, some have 5 even 6. You should be careful on this, i think. (though i am in play school in maakolam, i expressed what i felt).

Yes the number of lines are not consistent. I will definately concentrate on this. Even i am in play school for kolams as i dont get time to put kolams daily. Only for festivals and occassions I put kolams. So definately will take all your valuable comments. I made this kolam in my pooja room. So there was absolutely no space to stand and take a photo. I took this by standing on my toe.

Veena, nice maakolam. Like Jaya, I also love this design.U can improve on this a lot by trying more. ( to fet symmetry, before drawing the lines keep dots at appropriate places for guidances.)
