Thank you Suguna, Anirudh and Uma for your comments :) anirudh here in Maharashtra gujarat and some northern stated they use nine colours for Navarathri. They publish it before the festival and you can see people wearing these coloured dresses on every single day. Even the Goddess is dressed in those colours. You can get more in formation even in google also :) :)

We too, in south, associate colors to navagrahas which are represented by days of the week! In fact, I have seen people wearing specific color for the day! Even in making sundal for Navaratri color code is followed!
