Ha ha ha. Glad to hear that I've a partner here for dosa maavu kolam. Cheers Judy mam. My MIL was very much surprised to see my dosa maavu kolam and appreciated me a lot. Actually on Mahalaya ammavasa i wanted to put to maavu kolam but I was not prepared for that. So that day morning i saw dosa maavu in fridge. I took two spoons of that and diluted it and made kolam with that. After that, everyday kolam was made with that batter only. Mahalakshmi

Oh nice to see some company Maha - dosai maavu is the instant relief for those who don't have arsimaavu as this is readily available with everyone on a daily basis here, specially in South India :) http://www.ikolam.com/node/5877?p=3143 this is my dosamaavu kolam - check it out Maha - it is a very small one unlike your big and beautiful one. Very neat work - keep it up :)

Dear Judy Mam, Yes you are right. Even if u don't have it in home readily, you can buy one dosa maavu packet from the near-by shop and use it for kolam as well as for your breakfast or dinner. Two-in-one job done. I'm unable to check the link that you have sent. It says "Access is denied" and that I'm not authorised to view that page. I have written an email to Ms Lata last week regarding this. Once the problem is fixed, I will check this link. Thanks for your feedback. Mahalakshmi

Hi Jaya mam, pushpa mam, Thanks for your feedback. I didn't know that Judy mam also puts kolam with dosa maavu. After reading the comments given by Jayanthy mam and lakshmi mam, I came to know that I have a partner here. May be next time, I will make dosa maavu kolam with colurful chutneys, sambar, potato masala etc..... So that my kolam will be colourful. Mahalakshmi
