Looks grand Saralaji! Temples are ideal places to make such elaborate designs. Nice red colored 3/3 dotted kolams. :)

This is indeed pretty. One can easily get lost in the connections. The central red patterns remind me of the string kOlam I did once, but in the opposite direction. In principle, it is possible to connect them also to the main pattern. That is the beauty of these patterns. There is no one "right" way of doing it. All ways are always right :-) Regards! - mOhana

When I go to temples I gaze at the kolams rather than the deities! Some are really fabulous! Sarala, you have done this neatly with paint.

Saralaji, when I see this I feel as though I am seeing an old dear friend after a long time!. I think many of us would have put this kolam atleast once. You are lucky to put it in a temple.
