I'm glad I caught up with it today. I see that you are really fond of the blue structures, because you've used it in both of your rangolis. The rangoli is beautiful, and so is the name. Thank you for sharing your work here with us, and for providing all the details about this kolam. :)

Shanthamami, a bright colorful rangoli, neatly drawn and colored well.. The brown floor and the white border add the beauty.we call it Parangipoo/ or Paagalkai kolam. This same design was my first rangoli also. I think most of us would have put this atleast once.rajamma
