About karthigai kolam1 : PRINT
a kolam on the newly paved mud floor,decorated with a traditional lamp for karthigai deepam.though the kolam looked poor, i could not resist my eager to make kolam on this coarse floor

very beautiful deepaji....traditional designs with traditional extensions
has come out too good. May be more thicker lines could have enhanced it better or was the mud still wet when you took the picture? i think you should make your kolams with double strokes, will make the lines more parallel.

Deepa your kolam is so pretty - wish you had put some darker lines but I know that the flooring is still not ready to display your creativity - will wait patiently to see it soon however
