Welcome to ikolam Krithika! :) Your lotus rangoli and the red flower are looking very nice. I like the way you have drawn the shapes below the rangolis. Let me see if I get the names right for the shapes; triangle, round, square, rectangle and cone. Please do let me know if I got them all right. If I have made a mistake, you will help me in correcting them. Wouldn't you, please? :)

Bhavani I am so happy that your daughter is interested in making kolams as such a young age.. The flowers are coloured nicely and outlined qwith bold strokes - look forward to see more of Krithi kutti's kolams :)

That’s the sprite.

This reminds me of my childhood days. I won the first prize for my kolam when I was in 2nd standard. That was partly because there was no other participation from 2nd standard, and mine was the only entry. May be no other parent had confidence in their child. I remember, I did a very similar flower like what kirthika has done.

Here I see a great mom like my mom. And to krithika, I wish u lots and lots of joyful endeavors with kolams

I think in KG classes we can introduce a rangoli session. Children would love to do as Krithika has done here! What saying Jayanthi teacher?
