my contest kolam design also resembles this one. I too donot use white lines in between. Your kolam is very neat, colors are pleasing to look at. All the best.

The pattern is simple, but the execution is very good. The colours, the lamps and the symmetry all go in unison making the pattern a picture of prettiness. This year, I decided not to grade anyone. My dear friend, your enthusiasm and participation makes you already a winner in my opinion.

What a bright and beautiful dotted rangoli! Each layer somehow stands apart and at the same time seems to blend well creating a pleasing effect. Nice placement of different type of diyas (maybe the kalash could've been removed from this particular frame). Thank you for taking the time to include the complete dot grid details.
Best wishes and thank you so much for participating in the contest. :)
Rangoli contest 2010 results will be announced on November 20th at 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time (that will be November 21st 7:30am Indian Standard Time)
