About Diwali rangoli : PRINT

This is the rangoli I did for my neighbour on her request using the micham meethi colours after doing my diwali rangoli.Both designs are Rajamma's.

Quite nice. Pink and red mix nicely. When the rest of the rangOli is enjoying a six-pack :-), why does the central design has eight lines?
