Vasanthi, this is so cute and pretty kolam dear. 13 stars joined together to form a hexagon shaped chikku kolam. Nice colour combo and it looks bright.

Blackboard cloth aah...is it that hanging b.board which we use to teach children....do we get a big size of this...where did u buy it...pl let me know...i always want to draw a kolam on a black base...

oh! rani mam, sorry I missed this,
mam., when I went to Parry's for purchase colour powder, I saw the hanging black board in one of the shops (it is nearby kandaswamy temple only mam, but I do not know the name of the lane mam), it was available in 2, 3 sizes, I purchased the bigger one...Rs.150/- only mam. If I am about to go there in due course, I will get one for your mam (the same size)
