This time couldn't draw a different kolam each day in navratri as was busy with my baby n other house work..
Rangoli for beginners
Traditional kolam designs suitable for beginners. The steps to making these kolams are pretty self explanatory. Start with the dots (if any) and then followed by the lines. Once done, optionally, the enclosed areas of the kolam may be filled with color rangoli powder.
Here are the kolams and rangolis in this page:
- Navratri kolams
- Diwali rangoli!
- Naraka Chaturdashi 2011
- Lamps Kolam
- shub laabh !

- Simple Design with Ear Buds
This time I never removed the previous rangoli and kept making new ones resulting into a collection of 3 rangolis on Diwali eve :)
This is a dotted kolam with dot count 5 to 3 intermediate with 2 and 1 dots on all sides done using photoshop. My experiment continues though I am still not too familiar with many tools on photoshop.
This is a cute small rangoli done by my neighbour's daughter Smeera on seeing us doing rangolis. Her maiden attempt. Your comments please on this.
Dear Friends,
Eventhough this is a very simple rangoli, i want to share it with you all...
