Today is Anizham(Anusham in Tamil)...Today the Vallam kali kicks off in most parts of Kerala. The most famous boat race is held at Aranmula(famous for Shri Parthasarathy Temple) after Onam.
Dear friends....Happy Onam to all. Today is the first day of the Onam celebrations. First day of onam is called Athapoo. Here is a small pookalam for the first day. This is the third consecutive year I am uploading my onam creations in ikolam. Hope you all like it.
This is a combination of the painted padi kolam + Onam poo kolam. The poo kolam was done by me and my granny-in-law during the last Onam festival. The padi kolam is the one which all my friends were eager to see.. Hope you all love this..Next time i will upload the puja room painted padi kolam.
