This is the pongal rangoli put in front of my aunts house in pondicherry. As her son and daughter in law were to arrive on the next day, I had to put to rangoli in their house also.
This is the pongal rangoli I made on the day of pongal i.e on sunday.The pots and sun are in the 17 (5) to 5 dots straight. The rest is free hand.Ur views please.
This is my third pongal rangoli. this is also in pondicherry. Got up early in the morning.
On the Pongal day , we welcome Sun God who is coming with his chariot and the pongal pot is decorated with a rangoli design . 
The young girls are celebrating pongal by shouting "pongalo pongal " Hope u join them :bigsmile:
