I was in Palghat for this Onam. This was a pookkalam done in a small Krishna temple, where we performed 'anna prasanam and thulabharam' for my grand daughter on this special day!
In a hurry this pookolam was put for Onam. Can you smell the Jasmine, Panner rose, Marukkozhundhu and Sampige?
Hi! I wish everybody belated Happy Varalakshmi Vratham, Happy Rakshabandhan and Happy Jandhyala Pournima. This floral rangoli was arranged for Varalakshmi Vratham and I am able to upload only on this auspicious day of Rakshabandhan & Jandhyala Pournima.
Onam is one of the biggest festival in Kerala.It marks the begining of life.Various dishes are prepared on that day including papadam is must.Different different colourful rangolies and poo kolams can be seen every where to welcome Mahabali.
Also I am sending Lord Krishna keeping Navaneetham on his hand which was drawn by me on seeing the book. Devotees goes to Guruvayoor to see the vennai alankaram.

Hai to all...I wanted to try a pookolam for Onam...but due to demand of flowers today...I did this fusion of ALPONA+POO kolam....with d available flowers...it took me 2 hrs to finish this design...ur views pl....
