Kolam for beginners
Traditional kolam designs suitable for beginners. The steps to making these kolams are pretty self explanatory. Start with the dots (if any) and then followed by the lines. Once done, optionally, the enclosed areas of the kolam may be filled with color rangoli powder.

hai frnz,after so many diya kolams i did this simple freehand in my old style of coloring(fully colored),,, raja didnt like this style at all and commented that it was like a typical ramnad kolam...
hai frnz, this was again done on an karthigai eve,, more than d real diyas i felt d ps dots glowing better,,well ive bored u all with enough of diya kolams for a week,,lets switch on to d next...
