This is a freehand maakolam I did today. This design was originally done by one of our Ikolam members (extremely sorry I do not know who). So here I thank the original creator for this lovely kolam. I have made it slightly small to suit the space and made few decorations and adjustments. Hope you all like it.

This is a dotted maakolam with dot count 9 x 9 and 3 x 2 and 1 x 1 on all the sides. Hope you all like it.
Since many of you wanted to know how the bloomed rose was done, here I am giving the rose done using paintbrush and edited using photoshop. Dot count 7 to 4 intermediate and 1 dot on all sides. Hope this is helpful. Specially done for Rajamma maam and Suba.
