I saw your posting only today as I entered iKolam cafe very late!
Well, our Avani Avittam falls on Ganesh Chathurthi day since we belong to Sama-Veda.
Also, no festivals for us this year due to the demise of my mother-in-law!

No festivals for us too Jayaji, as my father-in-law had passed away a couple of months ago.
But, I will make the kozhukattai as a refresher course for my kids, otherwise they'll forget what they are called. They only get to see them once in an year.

nice to talk to u....my name is manju......i lived in mullainagar....vadavalli area..at presesnt am in UK...so sooooo bored to b alone.....msng all.....no friends....all englishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh frnds....hope u understand too......my family temple is in sulur....so i used to visit every yr.....

I'll take a look Manju, though I'm not an active member of any other social networking sites. Someone in my family made me a profile in Orkut to get started, but I just couldn't keep track of the different things in my life. But, I'll visit your page. Thank you.
