vurulaikizhangu vadai (Potato vadai)
Ingredients:
Maida--250 grams
boiled potatoes -- 3 to 4
tomatoes -- ''
onions -- ''
chilly powder -- as per to taste
salt -- ''
oil -- desired quantity
Method:
Mix maida with desired quantity of water and little salt to idly batter consistency. Keep aside. Smash potatoes. Put on a pan on stove. Fry chopped onions for few minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and again fry for some time till they mixed well. Add smashed potatoes with it. Again mix well. Add salt and red chilly powder one by one. Mix all together. Keep aside till it get cool. Heat the oil. Make balls of potatoes like small lemon size and dip it in the maida batter and deep fry in slow fire. Taste it, and let me know how it was.
