This is a drawing/painting drawn by one Mr. Ilayaraj in the Tamil magazine "Ananda Vikatan". There are many such fantastic paintings of his in the magazine. When I first saw his painting for a short story I was stupefied. Even I didn"t believe it was drawn by someone. I thought some computer graphics. After a few weeks his inteview was published in the same magazine. All of his paintings are stunning.

There is one with a young woman stringing flowers sitting on the thinnai of a pillayar koil. Another one with a girl staring at a partially opened door and flowers strewn around and a "pitthalai thavalai" near her. Those are great to behold.
