cut the bananas into halves and then steam it with the skin...Now remove the skin and smash it ...now take the required quantity of Jaggery depending upon your taste....normally equal quantities are taken...then add little water and heat it for removing the dirts....filter and now add the jaggery to the smashed banana...then add some more water till it becomes semi solid...now boil this till the raw smell of the jaggery goes ...once it is done...add the second milk of the coconut and let it boil for two minutes...add cardomom powder now...then switch off the stove and then add the first milk of the coconut....now cut coconut into very thin pieces fry it in ghee and add that also to the payasam..but ensure it is not too thin after adding the coconut milk....there is no particular measure for the recipe as the taste depends..the size of the banana ais the main thing you have to take into account....all just your own measure...this is the Pazha pradhaman ....this is sowmi's recipe
thanks sowmi
