Raagas Golu 2010

This is our little Golu for 2010, with mixed feelings since we are in a new house we didnt know where to start, but the end turned out quite good. The top starts with dasaavatara, followed by the devis and a nartanna ganapathi and the rest is all assorted with the marapacchis on step 1 on either side of maa durga, the kalasham, with a children's park for the little one to show off too, she is just a year and half. What's possibly rare here is that some of the dolls are elder to me, coming from my Mother-in-Law, who has been doing this for close to 45 years and the bigger eye catcher were the ammanais coming to my MIL from her paati.

Nice arrangement for the golu. I was trying to take a close look at the bigger rangoli on the left. You're lucky to have gotten such heirloom pieces from your close relatives/ancestors. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
(In case you'd intended this for the contest, I'm sorry to say that we couldn't include it, since we had received it quite late. I hope you'll participate next time).
